Adding STURGEON would be a good one. Since they are found across the globe.

I live on Saltwater, so that is where I fish most. When will you start doing Saltwater? Would like to see Georgia coastal fishing since that is where I am. I do not care about Florida, that is where most of the Saltwater information comes from, you can see the fish in the Fl water as it is clear, not muddy brown like Ga. I will say that if you do Saltwater be sure you cover all the states that have Saltwater fishing, not just a couple like other publications do.

I fish both saltwater and fresh water here in VA. However I too wish there was a saltwater section. It would be nice if both types of fishing had good coverage

I have taken up fishing later in life and have not had a mentor to explain all of the ins and outs of fishing, that is until I met NAFC. One thing I have always had a hard time finding is what the various aquatic plants are and what they look like. When I read an article and it tells me to fish the cabbage, I am left guessing what the author is referring to. If you could possibly address Aquatic Plant Identification in the encyclopedia I would appreciate it, and I imagine others would also. Than

I am a entry-level bass and crappie fisherman and even though the different lure options are helpful i love to see more what colors to fish on clear, overcast days or what lure works best on windy or calm days like when to throw a jig or spinnerbaits, when to use trailers what proper knots to tie the different lures thats all i know its a lot sorry

The Encyclopedia is a good idea - But there isn't a single entry for Trout,or Salmon - do you want to correct the over-sight? I'll be willing to help - I'm sure there are a few other cold water anglers out there.

It would be nice to see trout in here as well! Brown, Rainbow, or Lake Trout maybe? I use this to learn about fish I don't normally get to fish as well as I would say most do. But I would say that everyones request is pretty reasonable as well.

Can you include saltwater fish such as cobia, kings, reds, whiting or blues. I live in Florida where we have brackish and salt water. It's a little bit different from fresh water.

It would be great to se some info on the brown bullhead. As a night fisher from New Hampshire, I often switch out my gear if the bass are'nt biteing to catch some tastey bullheads. I've found that a treble hook baited with a bacon grease soaked sponge works well.

I agree add white fish, trout, salmon, and keep it a "closed source" wikipedia.com info being added/taken away takes away from its reliability and if you do "Open" then to say NAFC Staff that are experienced fishermen

Great stuff! I hope that this keeps expanding...esp. the lure types. i.e.: spinner-baits, swim jigs, shakey heads, etc

You need to put some stuff on trout and salmon. Thats the majority of my fishing. Then you can start on the salt water fish in the Pacific and the Atlantic. I also think you should add a spot for White fish and other lesser known species from regional areas around North America.

if you click index show (on the left hand panel) it will give you a link that works . I sent them a few screen shots on this. They need to connect the links to the index .
